Female Sexuality Is Front and Center At "One Taste"

Remember the communes of the 60's where the inhabitants smoked pot and grew vegetables?  Well the 2009 version of the commune has changed drastically.  Today at the One Taste Urban Retreat Center  the exclusive emphasis is on women's pleasure.   

Nicole Daedone, the founder of One Taste says, "I don't think women will really experience freedom until they own their sexuality.  Kind of like Real Cougars don't you think?

Well, before you answer read about one of their daily rituals - it's called morning practice.  Each day at 7 a.m. a dozen women, naked from the waist down, lie with eyes closed in a velvet-curtained room, while clothed men huddle over them, stroke them in a ritual known as orgasmic meditation O'Ming for short. All this is done under the generic label of research.  

Those drawn to One Taste are an eclectic lot. Some are in life transitions, like a 50-year-old Silicon Valley engineer.  He's recently divorced and said that the practice of manually fixing his attention on a tiny spot of a woman’s body improves his concentration at work. That's original - whatever it takes.

Work Over Romance - A Good Choice?

Real Cougars may make a conscious choice to be single but that's because they realize how important it is to be with the right guy.  It has nothing to do with making work your only focus and kicking romance to the curb.

But, according to an article I read over at Yahoo Shine, some women are deciding to take the focus off of their love lives and place in totally on their professional endeavors strictly because of our unstable economy.  To me that doesn't sound like a wise decision.

Real Cougars know the value of balance in their lives. All work and no play doesn't make us happy and it sure doesn't make our finances any better.  When we are happy with our love life it has a positive effect on everything else we do.  And, feeling good is very important to us. We don't paint ourselves in corners with either/or decisions.  

One of the women quoted in the article said, sometimes you just have to look out for yourself and sacrifices have to be made. It's a part of life right now in this economy."

"Real Cougar Club" is Good For Your Health

Beth, our Real Cougar Correspondent wrote me this letter and I wanted to share it with you.

I hope you realize that being a member of the Real Cougar Club, is actually good for your health.  How many of us are lucky enough to be part of a circle of really good friends?  Friends who accept us for who we are - no matter what!  It's a scientific fact that having friends is linked to longevity, decreased stress and a general feeling of well being.

 

I was reading an article written by the American Sociological Association.  It said, “Americans’ circle of close confidants has shrunk dramatically in the past two decades and the number of people who say they have no one to discuss important matters has more than doubled.”  Our hectic lifestyles makes it very difficult to cultivate our connections with other people.  We are more isolated than ever, so even though our acquaintances might give us a perfunctory hello, they have no idea who we are.

 

After reading that article it got me thinking.  I remembered something that happened just a few days ago at my part time job.  I am an outgoing person, so while I'm working I do my best to chime in and be part of the crowd.  But, instead of feeling buoyed up by my interactions, I am left feeling empty.  They don't know who I am and it's obvious they really don't care.  

 

My life is pretty isolated.  I am taking an MBA Program online, and in my spare time I manage to fit in the things I love to do.  I am very fortunate because I am sharing my life with a wonderful guy, but until recently didn't have the female connection that I have missed so much.  

 

My feeling of isolation fed my natural inclination to reach out. I researched different women's clubs online but couldn't find my niche.  Then I found The Real Cougar Club and now I am in the perfect place to interact with other women just like me. Linda, these women are just as you described - smart, confident, sexy and proud to be over 40.  I am ecstatic, as well as relieved, to have found this wonderful community of friends.  It's a gift for my soul.

Snoring The Ultimate Sleep Killer

Booty Pop - A Lifting Experience
