Spitzer Caught With His Pants Down

Looks like the holier than thou Gov. of New York ain't so holy.  The New York Times reported that he is involved with a very exclusive call girl ring called "The Emperors Club VIP.  The ring rented out prostitutes who charged up to $5.500 per hour.

Apparently it was his cell phone records that connected the governor to the ring. This man amassed a lot of enemies during his career.  It's reported that there was a wiretap setup and that's how he got snagged.  But I wonder if one of his enemies was working to find something to use as payback?  It's very common for the powerful to just wait for the right moment.  It's not about getting angry - it's about getting even.

The thing about Gov. Spitizer is his double standard.  His whole whole platform was about morals and ethics.  Guess Elliot doesn't take his own words to heart.
