Cougar! The Musical - How Great Is That?
Yes, it's true. Now there's a New York Musical about Cougars.
This is how "The Real Cougar" is described in the shows promotion. Cougars are sexy, confident women over 40 who never apologize for their success. What they didn't say but I will, these spectacular women are really smart, independent, know what they want and how to get it.
Actress/Comedienne/Cougar Donna Moore is helping get the cat out of the bag as she educates women and men with her show Cougar! The Musical debuting is at The West Bank Cafe's Laurie Beechman Theatre.
A former child television star on PBS' Zoom, Donna Moore is jumping right into the "cougar phenomenon" that is gripping the country. "The Cougar is a metaphor for female empowerment," Moore said. "She has
overcome sexual and professional taboos and now lives her life to the fullest."
After a successful run off-off Broadway, Cougar! The Musical will debut on Saturday February 9th, with additional performances on February 13 and 16, March 1 and April 11 and 18. Tickets are $20 and there is a $15. Tickets are available through Theatermania,
http://www.theatermania.com/content/show.cfm/show/141197 or call for reservations at (212) 352-3101. Use code "BWAY" for $15 tickets.
So, for all your Real Cougars in the New York Metropolitan area let's go have a fun night out and support one of our own fabulous species.

Sure wish I were going to be in New York to see this. Hopefully it will be taped and a DVD released later. Would love to see it.
